The GoPro’s fisheye lens naturally distorts the horizon lines and frame edges.

To soften GoPro’s fisheye lens distortion simply apply Fisheye Fixer for GoPro’s v2.0 in FCPX to alter your clips to fit alongside footage shot with conventional lenses.

Fisheye Fixer v2.0 features four custom settings: wide, medium, narrow or superview. Simply chose your setting then drag and drop Fisheye Fixer on to your clip to see the change immediately.

Simply go to the Effects browser in FCPX and drag Fisheye Fixer on to your clip.
Because Fisheye Fixer is a native FCPX effect, it can be dropped onto your footage and previewed in real time – no need to wait for rendering. No round trips to any other applications.
